SINOSSI | SYNOPSIS
Il quindicenne Klemen vive con il fratello più grande Peter e la madre single in una piccola e remota città rurale. La ben consolidata routine di Klemen di passare del tempo con il suo amato fratello sul campo da tennis e sulle rive del fiume vicino alla casa viene interrotta dall’improvvisa e appassionata relazione con la sua bellissima coetanea Sonja, scatenando in Klemen un torrente di emozioni contrastanti e di azioni spericolate.
Fifteen-year-old Klemen lives with his elder brother Peter and single mother in a small and remote rural town. Klemen’s well-established routine of spending time with his beloved brother on the tennis court and by the nearby river gets interrupted by Peter’s sudden and passionate love affair with his gorgeous peer Sonja, which triggers a torrent of conflicting emotions and reckless actions in Klemen.

Martin Turk è nato a Trieste, in Italia, nel 1978. Nel 1998 si è trasferito in Slovenia per studiare regia alla Ljubljana Film Academy (AGRFT). Si è laureato nel 2004 con un’analisi della Trilogia della Morte di George Romero e con un cortometraggio intitolato The Excursion (Montpellier – Grand Prix, Audience Award and Young Audience Award, Bologna – Special Jury Prize, and Wiesbaden – Best student film). Mentre studiava, ha lavorato come assistente alla regia per diversi lungometraggi. Il suo primo film Feed Me With Your Words è stato sviluppato al Cinefondation Residence del Festival di Cannes ed è stato selezionato a numerosi festival. Il suo ultimo lungometraggio Good Day’s Work è stato sviluppato al City of Global Screen’s program di Sarajevo.

Recensione di Anna Piccini : Un film che analizza con precisione le turbe adolescenziali di un quindicenne che sono un misto di a) gelosia per il fratello maggiore che e’ da sempre un riferimento, non avendo più’ il padre, e del quale non gradisce il suo allontanamento per l’amore per la sua avvenente ragazza, b) invaghimento per la ragazza del fratello, c) terrore per l’annunciata partenza del fratello per andare a studiare in Germania assieme alla ragazza, d) insofferenza ad un feeling che sua madre sta mostrando per un giovane poliziotto. Non sempre il ritmo riesce a tenere desta la attenzione dello spettatore, che anzi viene più’ di una volta smarrita. Peccato.
