Recensione di Catello Masullo: Trasposizione cinematografica del romanzo di Taichi Yamada, è un capolavoro di sceneggiatura, scritta da Andrew Haigh che ha anche diretto il film, di una precisione impressionante. Una straordinaria analisi delle problematiche degli adolescenti diversi nelle relazioni intra ed extra familiari. Un avvolgente e sottilissimo gioco di specchi tra rappresentazione reale e mentale del protagonista che scava nell’intimo profondo. Una capacità di esplorazione dei meccanismi dell’animo umano di raro riscontro. Con una materializzazione di sentimenti e di apertura all’avventura della vita contagiosa e coinvolgente. Da non perdere.
